John 16 Red Tree Blazing Through Foggy Parkway

On the back side of Grandfather as we curved around the viaducts, dense fog covered the heavens threatening to hide the beautiful fall colors.  This one maple in particular refused to be hidden though the craggy mountain behind was densely blotted out.  Smiles spread from ear to ear with that unexpected pop of color on such a dreary day!  It reminded me of John 16:33 that no matter what the day looks like looking out, Christ has conquered all!
